Pharmacognostic, Antimicrobial and Toxicological Studies of a Seasonal Medicinal Plant; Tagetes Patula L

Purpose of this study: This study has been carried out to explore the medicinal significance Tagetes patula by evaluating its in vitro antibacterial, antifungal and toxicological effects. Pharmacognostic standardization is done maintain purity quality drug.
 Methodology: studies (macro morphology microscopy i.e. Histology powder microscopy), solubility color reaction T.patula were followed antimicrobial ethanol extract flowers. In regard antifungal, performed well diffusion, Agar dilution, larvicidal activity respectively.
 Results: Flower T. showed good antibacterial effects against gram +ve –ve bacteria except Shigella flexanri. Moreover it powerful various human (Aspergillus flavus, Candida glabrata, Trichophytonlongifusus), plant (Fusariumsolani)and animal pathogens (Microsporumcanis). remarkable was observed brine shrimp at 100 1000 µg/ml.
 Conclusion: research makes valuable a candidate for skin infections wound management topical use.Such will help formulating herbal preparations combat inflammatory infectious disease.
